Some smaller paintings seem to be expensive than the larger ones- why is that?
Each of my painting is priced based on more than just the size. Each piece is created with a lot of love, patience, energy and time. I follow the multi-layering technique to create depth and layers in my work. While larger gestural works require more materials, smaller pieces often involve deep focus, intricate layers and fine details that can take just as much - or even more- time and energy to create. Many of these pieces are rooted in personal reflection, drawn from my own photographs and moments that hold meaning. Each painting is valued individually based on the full scope of what it represents and the efforts it took to bring it to life.
